During the 1980s and 1990s, Cindy Crawford was one of the most popular supermodels. Her presence on magazine covers, fashion campaigns and runways was unparalleled. Maybe one of the factors that led her to success was that she did not take herself too serious. One of her quotes: “Even I don’t wake up looking like Cindy Crawford.”.

Crawford was shot by some of the most famous photographers of that time. 

My series “A tribute to Cindy Crawford” is a selection of her best pictures in my own interpretation.
